Very rare volume published to attract people to settle in the valley around Montrose after the completion of the Gunnison Tunnel irrigation project. Has sepia toned photographs of the area, mainly agricultural, but also mining around Ouray, as well as some historical photos of the time. 152 pages. 5 1/2" x 8 1/8"; hardback with pictorial cover. Pages somewhat loose, especially toward upper half. Corners slightly bumped, spine bumped at top and bottom, but overall cover in great shape.
